This image relates to the main song of the album in where she is seen looking like this. It's showing the beauty in plain sight, this is who she is and this what you're going to see.
Rihanna is used in a close up, which is common when looking at Cd covers, the picture relates to the setting of the video and the warm tone. This is one of the summer hits therefore it uses that as it's base for the picture so it's all relative, the colours used are often used with the pop genre, lots of reds and pinks, bright colour.
